Cooking isn’t my best skill.

I had the best dinner planned out the other day. Chicken burgers topped with home-made guac. Now, let me tell you I LOVE GUACAMOLE! Chiptole being my favorite thing to eat in the states, and the guac there is so good. Why can’t I made good guac?

Anyways, I made this super good looking burger. Not ketchup, just the avo, and cheese. IT WAS TERRIBLE ! Everything was wrong. The chicken had a hard skin, the guac I couldn’t even stand, and the bread was just as bad. I thought this was going to be an amazing meal, but nope! I was wrong.

Working out update.. Blah. Have been working alot, and Haven’t made it to the gym. I know the only person I’m letting down is myself specially since I did so well last week. I will get back into it. ASAP.

Shopping.

I’m feeling pretty bummed. I worked out so hard last week, and total weight loss is less then a pound. Its kinda discouraging. I blame the way I ate. I didn’t try hard enough there.

I’m upping fruit intake. And smart water. And FORMULA 50. Only because I love that stuff.

NO MORE TREATS.

no more red meat.

New Shoes + Fruit again!

You will be glad to know I’ve been going to the gym alot. Within the last 6 days I’ve gone 3 times! All for 2 hours each! Its been so good.

I had to buy new runners because my old ones just weren’t working. Everytime I would work out my left pinkie toe would fall asleep, and it was so uncomfortable. I’m gunna give these ones a try tomorrow, I bought them today, and hopefully things work out.

Also, I’ve been really into juicing. I don’t know really what else to say about it, besides the fact that I’ve been doing it alot. and it uses up alot of my fruit. :(

Don’t wear shorts.

Shorts is def something I don’t wear. I try to show the smallest amount of skin possible, if I do show skin its like cleavage, but shoulders always covered.

I honestly don’t remember the last time I wore shorts.. To my guess I was like 10..  or 11. I remember all of my highschool always covered. Hoodie EVERYDAY. No arms showing no nothing. I just started to be okay with wearing something that doesn’t close in the front recently.

After this it makes me thing, where did I get all my insecurities? No one has ever called me fat, or called me ugly. No one has ever hated on me.

One thing I’m really excited about is all the clothes I will get to wear. The dresses, the shirts, the skirts, SHORTS! The shorts in the picture are size 16, and I think I’m going to force myself to wear them out. They look good I think.. So why not?

Update on exercise.. Still haven’t made it to the gym. Been doing cardio around the house.. And the ab circle pro. Again, all the ACP is doing is hurting my back.

What, REALLY?

I recently joined.. Well became active in a weighlossish forum. The Calorie Count Forums! I didn’t remember, but I had made an account March 08. I didn’t become active until Feb 2010.

I had entered my weight 2 years ago at 260! Yikes.

Its kind of heart warming to know, Instead of really gaining lots of weight in the past 2 years, I have been slowly taking weight off secretly. 5 of those pounds in the month of February!

Lets just say, I’m excited for more! I’m excited to see that ticker reach 30 pounds lost.. Even 40, and 50!

Summer.

Summer is coming up, and I think if I keep working hard it can be a really good one!

I think I have worn a hoodie/long sleeved shirt out my WHOLE life. I don’t remember one time I didn’t wear a sweater to high school. Today when I think about it, I wonder why I let myself be so upset, and depressed? Why didn’t I work harder then? But, I’m very glad I’m finally doing the work now.

Even since I moved out of my families home, and to a different city, I still think I wore heavy body covering cardis, and sweaters last summer. This summer HAS to be different. I want to TAN. I want to show my arms, and my legs. Even if I force myself and do it for one day, haha.

I bought myself a different ‘workout’ shirt. Its more form-fitting, and I don’t think I look terrible in it. I can’t wait til it fits looser!

Workout of the day

30 minutes – intervals – elliptical

30 minutes – 3.5/6 – Treadmill

13.5/2010. Not close, but its a start. And everyone has to start somewhere. I only work my number was alot higher.. haha. OH and PS! I am getting so much better at running! I didn’t correctly look at the time, but I ran .15 of a mile in a breeze. When i first started .05 and I was dead. It feels so good! I can’t wait to run more! haha.

Update #6

The best thing in the world is when you put something on, and its fits different. Even though I have only lost 2 pounds (I should say my scale is wii fit for now.. lol) I can really tell the differents. Specially in the new coat I just bought a few weeks ago.. Its an XL DKNY Rain Jacket, and the fit was perfect. Now putting it on I feel like I’m wearing a parachute. Its kinda upsetting in way because I love this jacket.. And I did spend 100$! But, it only means I get new clothes soon. ahha.

Today was a break day. I tried to get up when I normally do to go to work-out.. But couldn’t. I didn’t end up getting out of bed until at least 12pm. It was needed I guess, But I’m feeling a little restless and can’t wait to work out tomorrow.

I ate some bananas, and raspberries most of the day. Then around 4.30 I watched by Thai Express, and NEEDED rice.

I have never had one of these little containers, and really think its the cutest thing ever.

Update # 2

30 Minutes Elliptical

20 Minutes Running

So, the gym was quick again today. I really want to spend more then “1 Hour” there, but I had to rush home to look after the puppy. Excuses eh! The elliptical is getting pretty good, I love that workout. According to the machine I had burned about 300 calories, and I didn’t look at the running, but phew. I can’t run for the life of me. Tomorrow I think I might make the majority of my workout on the treadmill. I want to be able to run!

I haven’t weighed myself in about a week.. I am waiting til tuesday to do that. I really hope I see something different.. Even though I’ve been eating not as well, I am doing exercise which wasn’t part of the picture last time.

PS – Canada VS USA game was just disappointing. I wish Canadians did better! Ugh.
